Spring Show 2019

Despite the very warm February when all the gardens burst into bloom several weeks earlier than usual, there was still an excellent array of daffodils, tulips, spring flowers, pot plants and vegetables on display for the many visitors to our Spring Show that took place at Ickenham village Hall on Saturday 6th April.

The many people who visited the Show throughout the afternoon were greeted with beautiful blooms alongside some amazing handicrafts and cookery and wine exhibits. There was also a photographic competition which boasted some amazing close up shots of flowers and plants, familiar garden creatures as well as some exotic scenes from around the world.

The floral art classes we reintroduced last year, are proving to be popular with entrants and visitors alike. The theme of 'A Nursey Rhyme' and 'A Night at the Ballet' resulted in very creative and well executed arrangements.
